Fellow Society Members,
On this day, just a few years ago, two proud parents brought forth a boy
into the world and knew immediately he was something special. With that
knowledge in mind, they opted to highlight this uniqueness to all with whom
he would encounter by applying a name that would create a lasting impression
in the minds of all.
Thus, Old Slice Minter (nickname "Jason') began his journey in life.
From the time he was but a mere lad, he seemed destined to someday attain
the most sought-after level of society, SOGAGG membership, and did so quite
rapidly. Today, we lift a toast to our esteemed colleague along with our
fondest wish that he will soon return to the ranks of good friends and poor
golf, i.e., a shared bond.
Happy Birthday "Slice" and welcome back from another worldwide adventure.
