Also, I didn't see a "mad minute for our charity". Don't know if it may
already be incorporated in the speeches by the others, but typically at the end
of many charity functions, the crowd is asked for additional donations.
Sometimes the MC starts by saying are there any $1,000 donors, nobody raises
their hands..$500..$250...some raise their hands...down to $25 where typically
many do. We could remind them that there was no on-course nagging. Could also
ask if there are any donors willing to do a 1:1 match up to a certain amount.
Could generate some extra $$$ for our charity.
We could just show the website link for donations where they could use their
own phones and make a donation,(that way they could get a donation letter for
tax purposes), or we could go around with the credit card machine.
