Hi Guys,
We need to come up with 2 more On-Course games for our event at RBI. Hoping
to avoid the need of buying this stuff so that more $ can go to our charity.
One of the areas is pretty large (150+ yards) so we can be creative, but have
already ruled out javelin throw, high powered rifle target shooting (low
powered?), and a fishing derby in the pond as Axe/Rules would probably win
with a 100# halibut anyway.
Maybe, take a look in your garages and see if you have any carnival/outdoor
games that could work like spin-the-wheel, lawn darts, dunk tank….
We also need a stopwatch, Referee shirt/hat, ladies left and right handed
drivers, (1) or (2) ski poles and (4) Frisbees for our Polish Horseshoe game
(rules and info enclosed in case you want to practice), (4) old school
“wood” woods and (4) old/funny/Stooges SOGAGG style type hats for posing
for pictures. Need the games and items before the event, so maybe bring them
to the next meeting, and you can take them home with you after the event. We
also need 144 old golfballs that we can hit into the pond, you can get them
back, but you may need diving gear.
We also need some volunteers after next Friday’s golf outing to
practice/test a timed event on one of Mt. Woodson’s par 5’s, assuming they
will allow us.
