I am pleased to announce the following results of the Fall
Slating panel. The competition was keen and stands as
testimony to the dedication and quality of our acquisition
workforce. Please join me in congratulating our
selectees.
CAPT (Sel) Christopher DeSena has been selected as the
Program Manager for Navy Satellite Communications Satellite
Program Office (PMW 146). Captain (Sel) DeSena is
currently serving as the Officer-in-Charge and Factory
Representative for SPAWAR Space Field Activity, Denver.
Prior to this tour, he served as Principal Assistant Program
Manager (PAPM), Contracting Officer's Representative in
addition to Director, Launch and Mission Operations for the
ACAT 1D Mobile User Objective System (MOUS) Satellite
Program.
CAPT Kurt Rothenhaus has been selected for Program Manager
for the Tactical Networks Program Office (PMW 160).
Captain Rothenhaus is currently serving as the Commanding
Officer, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific.
In addition to his operational assignments on the USS Fife,
USS O'Brien, Destroyer Squadron FIFTEEN and USS Harry S.
Truman, he served as an individual augmentee to Baghdad,
Iraq developing counter-insurgency and reconstruction
systems for the Army Corps of Engineers. His prior
acquisition assignments include DPM for PMW 170, APM for
Consolidated Afloat Network Enterprise System (CANES) in PMW
160, and Future Command and Control Systems APM in PMW
150.
CAPT
Andrew Gibbons has been selected for Program Manager for the
Communications & GPS Navigation Program Office (PMW
170). He is currently serving as the Program Manager for
PMW 750. In addition to his operational assignments on USS
Mount Vernon, Assault Craft Unit FIVE, USS Boxer, and Naval
Beach Group One, he served as an individual augmentee to
Baghdad, Iraq fielding vehicle-born CREW systems. His
prior acquisition assignments include DPM for PMW 160 and
DPM for PMW 760. He also served as Officer in Charge of
SPAWAR Systems Facility Pacific, Japan, and NAVSEA 05's
Strike Force Interoperability Officer for COMSEVENTHFLT
(C7F).
Mr.
John Armantrout has been selected as the Deputy Program
Manager for the Information Assurance and Cyber Security
Program Office (PMW 130). He is currently serving as
Principal Assistant Program Manager for PMW 150 Support C2
Division. Her prior assignments include Technical
Directorate Lead for the Joint Tactical Networking Center
and Technical Director for the Joint Program Executive
Office Joint Tactical Radio System. While on active duty,
John held both DPM for Naval Combat Support Systems PMW 151
and Carrier Integration PMW 750 roles.
Mr. David
Rodriguez has been selected as Deputy Program Manager for
the Carrier & Air Integration Program Office (PMW
750). He is currently serving as the DPM for PMW 760.
Prior to this assignment, he held several positions in the
program to include Principal Integration Platform Manager
for New Ship Construction, and Advanced Communications
Package Project Lead. Earlier assignments include APM for
Advanced EHF and Navy Multiband Terminal for PMW 176 as well
as APM for the Commercial Wideband Satellite Program.
Ms. Candace
Gallihugh has been selected as the Deputy Program Manager
for the Ship Integration Program Office (PMW 760). She is
currently serving in SPAWAR Fleet Readiness Directorate as
the Principal Installation Manager for Surface Ships. Her
prior assignments include Lead On-Site Installation Manager
for Guided Missile Cruisers, Ohio Class and Los Angeles
Class submarines in Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, as well as
Integration Platform Manager for CVN 72 and CVN 79 programs
at PMW 750.
To our selectees: you should be
justifiably proud of this significant career milestone.
