Sage guidance to live re: extra balls and snake anti-venom.  I would also add 
water and suntan lotion to the list :-)

 

I would like to thank Shaft for helping out with organizing the event (reaching 
out to George H for a great deal $44).

 

Here is what I am proposing for tee times.  Let me know if someone desires a 
change.  Also, I can't remember is Steele Canyon has bfast or not so we have 
some calories and flavor prior to heading out.

SOGAGGers,

So we are set for Steele Canyon, Friday 7/15 with three tee times - 0745, 0754 
and 0803, at $44.00 per player.  Thanks to George for the help here and for 
Shaft's assistance for reaching out to George.  Per George, if there are 
coupons the owners can negotiate those on their own.  Currently, we have 9 
SOGAGGers per below and possibly George.  So we need to find 2-3 more players.  
Can folks reach out to networks - I can try to reach out to Doug Ray unless 
someone else wants to.  I will be setting up the groupings over the next day or 
so.  Maybe 0630 muster for bfast?  Can't remember if Steele Canyon has any 
bfast options.   Will research with George.

 

Chi Chi - heads up, I am going to leverage your mastery of setting groupings up.

George - I don't know if you remember me, we played a few times at Steele 
Canyon within the last year, I am one of the Society of Golfers Against Good 
Golf (SOGAGG) members with Charlie Hopkins, Dwayne Junker et al.  I am left 
handed, gray mustache, sometimes have a good shot, followed by three bad ones, 
my handle was Doglegs, now its Shaft, long story (pun intended).

Charlie asked me to ask for your help in setting up tee times and getting a 
good rate for playing on 15 July.  If you are available, we would love for you 
to join us.  Charlie mentioned to me that he has a signed contact with Steele 
Canyon on 5 March 2017 at $150/per player and thought that would assist in 
support goodwill in obtaining a reduced rates, e.g., groupon has had a 2 for 
$99 or 4 for $189 rate or less.   At this point we, have 10 players, not 
including yourself.  If possible, we would like to start on/around 0730 to beat 
the heat.

I know I am asking a lot, I am good for drinks, during or after the round.  
George, thanks very much for your assistance in setting up a round Steele 
Canyon, hope you can join us and show us how the locals play the course,
