Thanks, Rules. I've gotten through two glasses of wine's worth thus far.
These are best measured in sips.
I'm going to finish the rest but a the moment I'm still of the mind to just
ask you what the rule is.
Cheers,
/Ace

Subject: [sogagg] Major Changes to "The Rules of Golf for 2019"
http://www.usga.org/content/usga/home-page/rules-hub/rules-modernization/maj
or-changes/major-changes.html
I just took twenty minutes to run through the videos and text found at the
link above. There are some changes here that everyone should know. I hope
you can find the time to learn the changes and incorporate them into your
game starting in 2019.
I have also attached a copy of the 2019 rules for your further detailed
review.
Of note when reviewing only the major changes: The old "Water Hazard" is
now a yellow penalty area, while the old "Lateral Water Hazard" is now a red
penalty area. The options for a yellow penalty area are only:
(1) Stroke-and-Distance Relief.
(2) Back-On-the-Line Relief.
While a red penalty area includes the additional option of
(3) Lateral Relief
Warm Regards,
Charlie Hopkins
