Chi Chi – Not a good thing if Mission Bay is reduced or, worse, eliminated.
This is why “Developers” is really a four-letter word. It’s a SOGAGG tradition
to play a night round and then head over to the palatial “Rocky’s Crown Pub”
for the best cheeseburgers, fries and brewskies. These people don’t know who
they’re messing with…
Maybe one of us here can make that meeting,

GOLFERS! HAVE YOUR VOICES HEARD! ATTEND MISSION BAY PARK COMMITTEE MEETING
TUESDAY, SEPT. 5
Avid and recreational golfers who want to see Mission Bay Golf Course remain a
viable recreational opportunity are urged to attend the upcoming Mission Bay
Park Committee on Tuesday, September 5 at 6:30 p.m to voice your opinion
regarding the importance of preserving golf as an integral element in the De
Anza Revitalization Plan.
Since the inception of this plan, there remains the possibility that the
footprint of the golf course could be reduced and/or altered. With so many
other stakeholders vying to secure the maximum amount of land possible for
their interests, many have been lobbying to eliminate the golf course
completely. It is important that San Diego's golf community demonstrate there
is large and widespread support for the game and for a course to remain in
Mission Bay.
The meeting will be held at the Santa Clara Recreation Center located at 1008
Santa Clara Place in Mission Bay. The meeting is expected to be attended by
many stakeholders including members of the public in support of RV camping,
environmental groups and others all voicing their opinions on the alternatives.
Show your support for golf in Mission Bay and attend the meeting if you are
able.
Information and renderings of the two proposed De Anza Revitalization Plan
alternatives can be found
