Carol just got off the phone with Penny. Barry is in surgery as of 2000 this
evening receiving a new heart. They got the call at 0200 this morning. They
were at the hospital in LA by 0430 and Barry started preps at 0800.
The next few hours will be crucial of course but all of Barry's family is there
and he is extremely excited to get on with the process.
Please pass this on to any of his Bud's that I have missed with this note.
