Sorry to miss what looks to be a fantastic event. Thanks for setting it up. I
am departing tomorrow morning for the Army-Navy game. So while you guys are
reflecting upon your latest links hijinks during another crystal clear 72o day
in SOCAL, I will be huddling together with friends and strangers alike, wearing
every bit of clothing that I own or can reasonably borrow, to cheer the Navy
team on to victory.
Just in case you might be interested, the weather guessers are providing this
advice to the diehard fans heading for Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday:
“Fans should head into the stadium with coats, hats and gloves. With clear
skies, AccuWeather RealFeel® Temperatures will hover in the upper 20s during
the game, which kicks off at 3 p.m. EST. There is an outside chance an
impending winter storm

Looks like rain will end well before first tee time. Foursomes per the table

Team A against Team B. The rules (as opposed to Rules) will be explained no
sooner than Friday morning and no later than after the final putt is made on
the 18th hole by Group B. The maximum you can lose will be five dollars for
the competition plus any fines assessed whilst on the course. Violation of
rules are subject to review by the rules committee (consisting of Docho). The
committee decision is final.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Friday. I will be at Tobey’s at 0830 for
breakfast. Hope you can join me.
