Rules – I would recommend posting them after our next meeting so that that
there is more feedback. I will get back to all NLT than Wed this week with my
take. I am sure with your and Ace’s review, as well as sHank’s they are in
good shape.

Ace, Thank you for taking the time to review these documents. I plan to post
them (sans the pages on how many volunteers, etc.) on the registration site.

I’ve gone through these. The 3 X 5 Card and Course View attachments are quite
clear. The Contest Rules attachment is, by necessity, quite detailed. Where
we have a volunteer stationed on a hole, that person needs to be fully educated
on that hole’s process in order to answer any questions and keep the folks
moving through the hole. With pre-tee off contests involved and any
explanation required of the actual effort thereafter (as described in the
attachment), we need to ensure we keep the pace up to preclude an overly long
round of golf that results in a late lunch and losing folks there.
Best,

SOGAGG,
Thanks to sHank, we are well ahead of schedule on figuring out the on-course
contest plans. Please review the attached rules and provide feedback.
The Contest Rules file lays out the proposed play rules for each hole. sHank
leaves open the decision on the exact pre-tee off contests to be played, except
for the chip a ball into the tub on the pond for hole 4. Please read these
from the perspective of players who have not been in on our discussions. We
would like these to be as clear as possible to the players.
The Total Drive Card with directions on the back will be provided to each
player, or each cart.
The Patriot Golf Day View file provides a graphic for each hole for clarity.
Note that the gold tees are moved up from their normal forward position on
several holes.
The last few pages of the Contest Rules is for our use. It lays out the
optimal number of volunteers required as well as the number of canopies and
coolers we will need. We can probably do with less.
Warm Regards,
Rules
