* Develop a list of auction items and their estimated value.
* Develop the process for conducting the silent auction, including
collecting payments and providing documentation.

* Develop a list of “swag bag” items.

* Create a definition of the pre-tee off games and the associated costs
of equipment for the on-course events.

per the Player Game Guide.
* Develop for Shaft volunteer requirements for help in setup and
operation of on-course events.
• Webmaster. Greg Minter. Builds and maintains a Patriot
Golf Day web-site.
• Registration Site Manager. Helna Correll. Builds and
maintains a Patriot Gold Day registration site.
• Day of Event Director. Shaft. Prepare a status report
regarding responsibilities assigned and processes established to direct staff
and volunteers to:
* Arrange for the transport and hanging of sponsor banners, both in the
banquet hall and on canopies on the course.
* Note: Course will hang banners (at least in the banquet hall). Bring
zip ties and bungie cords to attach banners to canopies.
* Conduct check-in and registration of players.
* Provide players with swag bags, on-course contest wrist bands, rules,
player game guides, etc.
* Enable players to purchase on-course contest package as late as while
in the staging area prior to heading to the teeing grounds.
* Husband players from their cars, through check-in, to their carts, & to
breakfast; monitor the putting contest; and otherwise assist players onto the
course.
* Conduct a national anthem with color guard kick-off just before players
head out to the teeing grounds.
* Conduct actions required during the golf round: As many as 30
volunteers at various locations on the course husbanding the on-course contests.
* Manage the after-party flow. Conduct the Silent Auction; make a record
of winners and collect payments.
* Prepare a script for speakers, sponsor videos (Divot has the projector;
Rules has the laptop; need a screen), and award presentations.
• Assistant Day-of-Event Directors. We need a large team
to assist Shaft in the preparation for and conduct of the Day of Event. These
SOGAGG members are assigned to this function:
* Bagger; Birdie; Divot; Docho; Hazard; Knockdown; OB; Old Slice; Rules;
Skully; TBD; Trek; Woods.
* Check in with Shaft regarding his expectations for you on the Day of
Event.
• External Communications Director. Chi Chi. Prepare
status report.
• SOGAGG Foursome: Ace, Axe, Chi Chi; sHank. Represent
SOGAGG in the Patriot Golf Day. Starting Hole: Number 10.
* Let’s discuss how we can get additional SOGAGG players on the course.
* Note: SOGAGG players will pay for their own green fees and on-course
contest packages.
