SOGAGG Colleagues,
Okay, you've got to admit, this outing was one for the SOGAGG history file.
Out in the hinterland, playing a course that's still working towards full
status, winds with gusts up to 35 MPH (or more?), contributing golf balls
all over the course to the ground crew (because they look under leaves),
and, for some reason, no turkeys (yeah, I know what you're thinking.).
I appreciate the good words in your emails - you all are special.
A couple of shout-outs:
* KD: For going through all the effort to bring Bounceback out with
us. So great. You are a prince.
* Chi Chi: For coming all the way down from the Northern regions to
play with us. You folks know our man brought a massive-size cooler of cold
beer with him for us, right? A missed opportunity there. You're the man.
* Skully: Who rolled in from Arizona to make the outing. Really
great to have you back in the fold. By the way, this man hasn't played a
round of golf since January, 2018 - and he shot 104. Just shoot me.
* Hazard: For somehow being able to put aside a full work schedule,
an impending family marriage requiring mucho planning and a home remodeling
that required moving to temporary quarters, yet joining us for the outing.
Truly appreciated.
* Brassie: Who agreed, yet again, to come out with the SOGAGGers,
even though he has done so in the past and knew what he was getting into.
That's a strong constitution, folks - and, we couldn't be more pleased you
decided to do just that.
* sHank & Birdie: For the kindness of chauffeuring and creating the
opportunity to share great thoughts as we motored along - both ways (and
Docho, who laughed - sometimes- at my jokes).
* Everyone: You're special. Just know that. We've got the most
unique group going here and it's the envy of everyone who knows of us.
Every member being equal, just enjoying ourselves through what we call
"golf."
