Axe,
Concur on the consistency of approach relative to the banners.
In terms of how to get them on the course and set up:
1. Would it be feasible to advise those that wish to do so that they
would need to arrive NLT 0645-0700 the morning of the event and we will provide
them a cart to take out to their area in order for them to set it up? Or…
2. They must have the banner to us at RBI by 1800 that evening for our
folks who are going to be there for the night to arrange to take it out to
their area and set it up.
Best,
/Ace

Subject: [sogagg] 2018 Patriot Golf Day: On-Course Banners
All,
After an inquiry, and a check with RBI, we agreed to provide one of our hole
sponsors the opportunity to furnish a banner that would be installed on the
course.
Since we have done this for one, I think it only fair to let our other
existing sponsors, and any new sponsors, the same option.
In addition, to distinguish “premier sponsor” who are paying thousands of
dollars (currently Deloitte, Leidos, and General Atomics), from other sponsors,
I think it would be appropriate to mount their banners on the the RBI furnished
canopies we are using on the course for our volunteers.
For the on-course banners not mounted on a canopy, the sponsor would be
responsible to provide a way to set up the banner so that it could be easily
planted and not fall down.
We would need to work out the logistics of how to get the banners on the course
and set up.
Please respond with any thoughts or concerns.
Warm Regards-
Axe
