A great tournament and even more so, one of the best teamwork efforts I've
been associated with. We might have stumbled a few times along the way in
designing, developing and executing this event but we never lost sight of
the goal and we always had each other's back. The result of all of that was
a first-class golf tournament and a fine-sized check for Folds of Honor. To
top it all off, we all slept "the sleep of the just" that evening knowing we
did all of this for the right reaons.

SOGAGG,
Thank you for a fabulous effort on a complex event. Each of you gave it
your best effort, and that effort was, to a person, exceptional. I am proud
to be associated with such a great group.
I received several genuine "best ever tournament" comments from players.
Even the one person who had complained greatly about the format apologized
and said he was very impressed and thought it was a great event. Others
complimented us on putting together a format that made it fun and
challenging for both the high and the low handicappers. The course was
littered with activity, which yielded a festive atmosphere enriching the
player experience.
I believe Chi Chi may have some feedback from The Folds of Honor
Foundation. I heard they were very pleased with our effort, extending their
reach into SOCAL and making a very nice donation, especially for our initial
effort.
The sponsor signages on the website, the course, the cart GPS devices, and
the Player Game Guide were very nice. I am sure our sponsors were
impressed.
We, of course, did have some glitches. Many of you dealt with things not
going quite as we had envisioned. Most of these things were minor in
nature, although they may not have seemed so at the time. For example, Axe
et al had some challenges with the primary sponsor equipage not being where
it was supposed to be during or after the event. The experience for Leidos
in particular was, unfortunately, not good. That said, these things happen
and lead us only to plan and execute better on our future tasks.
Again, my heartfelt thanks to each of you. If you have a long enough arm,
pat yourself on the back, give yourself a "well done," and let's go golfing
again.
