We are ahead of schedule and on track for our tournament.
Players: 148. Four more than we had planned, and an extensive waiting
list. This exceeds our expectations.
Sponsors:
- Number/Value: Missed the top two, but a terrific job on the rest.
Much more than we expected for our initial effort for this event.
- Signage: Received at RBI. Every hole will have sponsor signage.
Several will have canopies, etc. This exceeds our expectations.
- Banners: Premier sponsors have provided banners for on-course and
off-course locations, as planned.
On-course preparations:
- RBI has our course design and will implement it prior to the event.
- RBI has our player and volunteer count for meals
- RBI has our player pairings / hole assignments
- Player Game Guides are printed and ready to be placed in carts (1
each cart).
- Scorecards are printed and ready to be placed in carts (1 each cart).
- Games are ready for on-course installation.
- Volunteers are identified.
- RBI will print drink tickets with sponsor logos. Each player will
receive two; one premium and one other.
- RBI will provide two drink and snack carts to service the course.
- One small beverage cart will deliver free beverages: beer; soda;
water.
- RBI will place five coolers on the course with ice and with water
provided by us.
Off-course preparation:
- Player Gift Bags: All items are in hand. Bag stuffing 6:00PM
Sunday at RBI.
- Silent Auction: 13 Silent Auction Items. Bid registration forms
and bids sheets are printed. Locations assigned. Processes defined.
- RBI will provide curbside player bag drop off and delivery.
- Registration: Volunteers assigned, registration checklists (several
different sortings) are printed. Location assigned.
- RBI will conduct the putting contest.
- Food: Burrito Breakfast area assigned; All American buffet
scheduled for luncheon in the Awards Luncheon banquet hall.
- Tournament Kick-off script finalized, provided to RBI.
- Awards presentation script finalized.
- Trophies received.
- Gift Cards in hand.
- Speakers scheduled.
Web site and registration were outstanding efforts and supported the
tournament in every way needed.
External Communications/Outreach was extremely well executed and effective.
We are ready to get this party started! See you Sunday or Monday. Red
Hats; White Shirts; Blue Pants/Skirt.
