SOGAGGers,

It's that time of year again; despite the little recent back surgery you all
know about, I'm going to participate in the 2016 Big Brothers/Big Sisters of
San Diego County Golf Marathon Fund Raiser on 17 June at Rancho Bernardo
Inn.  It's all about raising money to fund as many matches of one Little
with one Big as we can.  DJ has been a donor for this event for many years.
I'm seeking to add some of you as donors, too.  No arm twisting or apologies
here; just if you feel like it.  However, the SOGAGGer donating the most
wins a drive in a 2015 Cayman GTS to the nearest In-and-Out for a Double
Double!

I know you would like to be a big, or to play and raise contributions for
this event.  Divot, Scully, or I can point you in the right direction if you
can.  Divot was a Big for one of our deployed service members, Divot and
Scully played a couple of years, and I'd love to have a little competition
in the race for Iron Man (most holes played).  If, however, you can't, I
hope you can support me this year.  This will be my eighth year
participating, and I have managed to achieve the Iron Man award  the last
four years.

As in individual player, I have committed to raise revenue in support of Big
Brothers Big Sisters.  Each $1,550 I raise will enable one Little to be
called off of the list of over 700 children waiting for a Big.  Can you
contribute at a level to bring one child off the list?  Or, can you add your
support of any amount to reduce the waiting list?  If so, please CLICK HERE
<http://sdbigs.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=1153612&lis=0
&kntae1153612=16BA37C6AB0B4531BCFC5FB22D833CBB&supId=296833995>  and make a
contribution today.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County (www.SDBigs.org) has made a
lasting, measurable difference in the lives of children.  Independent
research shows that having a Big Brother or a Big Sister makes a significant
impact on a child's life.  Consider that children that have a Big are:

-52% less likely to skip school -46% less likely to begin using drugs -27%
less likely to begin using alcohol.  And, locally, 84% of children in the
program report increases in self-confidence, 62% improve academic
performance, and 59% improve relationships with their families.

I would really appreciate you supporting me this year.  My goal is to fund
three matches.

Thank You,

Rules
