I abandoned using shea a while ago but am thinking of reincorporating into
my base recipe.

I am not into keeping soaping secrets. I have to say when i first started
soaping 10 years ago and would get very excited as a newbie when i met soap
makers at markets and be amazed at how many of them would just clam up about
their product. Not nice.

New Zealand Soap Swap 1

360 gm coconut 30%
360 gm olive 30%
360 mg palm 30%
120 gm shea 10%

Are you all using a calculator. There is access to a calculator on
www.soapcrafts.co.nz home page that i always use of course.

I use 30 mil of (half and half) of lavender and 10 mil of the lemon grass.

The oats was mixed at the end with a little of the soap mixture and then
pushed into the top. I traced the mixture at 30 degrees as a hot day and
has potential to seize with shea butter. The shea gives the lovely white
look.
