Pleased it worked for you. Do any of you use oxides for colouring? Or are the FD&C's, micas and ultramarines the generally used colours? Can we see pics of the The Library of Babel when you unmould and cut? I want to see if my vision has been realised! I tried some in a batch last night and have just cut it. I love the texture and the hardness of the soap. Gina, would you consider stocking this as I can't find it anywhere at the moment? The fragrance I soaped was Island Market I used an FD&C orange with a blue swirl using the sky blue colour from Gina. Unfortunately the orange clumped and spotted really badly but the sky blue came out a glorious baby blue (i used a low concentration of colour). I am so happy to have a good blue that doesn't turn purple. I was a little worried to start with as it initially turned a puce green. I will try and get a pic up in Facebook in the weekend. I am not so sure about the scent after soaping it. But will have to wait to see what it is like when finally cured. The raspberry red colour has quite a purple red tone to it so I will still need to stock up on the FD&C 40 for vibrant true red. I used the Amberwood colour swirled through natural in my soaping of The Library of Babel. The soap is still a little soft so I will leave in the mould a bit longer before cutting. Ross
