there used to be a lot here at the un-named local aircraft company.
over the past few years all the users i knew have been layed off. CSC took
over IT. i suspect they moved up to marieta or wichita. that's where the AC
jobs are (most of the users were shop mechanics). oddly enough, it's been over
the same time period that usage has moved out of the closet to more visable
areas. they still don't vocally endorse the use of OpenSource, but it's hard
to deny now.
