found a great app for downloading large files. we've got wget, true, but this one will handle user name & password issues and allows you to limit it's bandwidth consumption if you want to browse and dl in the bkgnd. so far i've used it to dl a 90Mb file on a dialup 56k. check it out. http://www.krasu.ru/soft/chuchelo/
