[snafuu] Today's meeting

If you didn't show up you missed a fun time 8)
We met at Ruby Tuesdays and discussed Linux and certain other non-free OSes
over lunch. Topics ranged from my tribulations with and new-found hatred of
XP Home Edition, Garrett's continuing infatuation with Mac laptops, and
Keith's adventures with every CAD system known to mankind. And, of course,
we were able to help one another with various issues we've had with Linux.
The adventure continued after lunch, when we went off to Radio Shack on a
quest to get me a barcode scanner. (which failed, but we have not given up
our quest. We just need to find a shrubbery... a small one, and not too
expensive).
We'll be planning another meeting in a few weeks. Any suggestions for
topics? The location seemed to work well; any further suggestions?
