I do love the dangling perched 3... Blue looks to be a very dark navy blue--how does that compare to the St. Mark's t-shirts? The goal is to blend into them as much aspossible. Of course, printing them might change the hue anyway, but we can try. I like the thought regarding shirts on Thursday. I wasn't certain if the 3566 stood out enough so tried something else for fun, and attached another file. These both have a navy blue background; will they do for the stickers? Regs, Jon. ________________________________________ From: smsrobotics-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [smsrobotics-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Maria DeVuono-Homberg [devuonom@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 04 January 2011 19:02 To: smsrobotics@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [smsrobotics] Re: T-Shirts This looks very nice, Jon...it's what I was envisioning for the letters! I would tilt Gone Fishin' to be more parallel with the rod if possible. Definitely looks great. More t-shirt stuff...I just talked with Dr. Mulik regarding Thursday. I'm sure he will let you know further details, but it will probably save money and the environment to avoid putting together a hasty homemade t-shirt. We are leaning towards all of us having the blue St. Mark's shirts for the kickoff which will definitely mark us as a cohesive team. I will make stickers of your logo with the sponsors which we can attach to our shirts, similar to the nametags people wear at large conventions/meetings. I will need a file which has a navy blue background if possible. I can add the NASA and Jcpenney logos sent out in an earlier email. Thoughts? Still working, but to keep everyone in the loop... Sorry for the delay. I was trying to combine what I could capture of yours with my graphics products available. My preference is for the ones with the plain numbers on the bottom. I think the fish is too hokey and roughly done right now. As I open the PDF attachments, I see that the backdrop of blue has been altered to grayish. This can be fixed. Let me know which one you want and I will finalize it. If you decide to go with a different color, I do not advise burgundy/maroon, pink, striped, or lime green. There are famous/infamous teams which already use them or are overused. On a side note: Kickoff is unusual as an FRC event bcz it is one day only. We would need to wear the t-shirts that one day. At hectic 3-day events, we need to wear that one t-shirt for three days. Consider wearing another t-shirt underneath. Also, are there definitive details for the Friday departure? We need it designed quickly, like before Monday. Design should include, logo, team name, team number 3566, St. Mark’s School somewhere, JC Penny Logo and NASA Logo. The team logo, NASA logo and JC Penny logos are attached. Speed is of the essence since we must have the T-Shirts by Wednesday, in time for the Kickoff. -jm. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Director of Academic Computing and Computer Science Instructor St. Mark's School, Southborough, MA (508) 786-6155 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Lekin woh zindagi hi kya jisme koi namumkin sapna na ho?
