Hi If you folks can find me the dimensions of the allowable box, I can start working on a design with some of the kids. And once I know it's dimensions, we can also work on finding a good place for it to be stored where it won't be in anyone's way. On another note...the construction of the shipping box. Some things to keep in mind. It is large, larger than our lab can house with us in it and working. In addition, it needs to be built someplace where it can live during the off season (maybe the stage crew's building room). It must also be someplace which has a doorway large enough for it to pass. Often double doors have a stile in the middle. If we really make it open up, it may pass through regular doors, might not. I am not sure of final dimensions. Did you end up finding any new specs on that? Yet another thing to keep in mind is that it must either be accessible by FedEx wherever it is outside or a grounds crew truck must be available (as well as several heft humans to lift) to take it to the FedEx loading zone. I will send out directions when we get closer to the 15th. For now I expect that we will meet on Stage at the Performing Arts Center (PAC) or in the PAC parking lot. Folks, On Nov 15 (Monday) during co-curricular, Rev. Barbara Talcott has arranged for a talk by Reed Nixon. Reed , is quadriplegic and has some pretty amazing technology that allows him to navigate (not to mention that keeps him alive!). Rev. Talcott has arranged for us to meet with Reed at 12:15 (during seated lunch) before co-curricular. If you want to meet him and see all the technology up-close let me know and we can arrange for a brown-bag lunch for you and for you to be excused for seated lunch. I highly recommend taking this opportunity. You will see a lot of **Amazing** technology at work and also meet a very resilient human being. This is a very special opportunity only for us ... So please make use of it. Please let me know if you plan to come.
