I'll let Tom know and call Chris as well. I think we made the right decision.
No point in waiting. I'm sticking close to the house since my immune system is
compromised. I did go to the grocery store here this AM but wore rubber gloves,
face mask and glasses and tried to stay clear of everyone. Not much on the
shelves. I've cut my PO Box pickups to every 3 days and after it closes. I did
drive Karen to BJ's bit stayed in the truck. Thank God for my cars and woodshop
. They give me something to do so I don't go bonkers sitting around , worrying
and watching my investments tank and it's safe and germ free there. This may
last a while . Our freezer is full as is our pantry so we can survive at least
a month , maybe longer, if necessary.
Everyone please stay safe and we'll get thru this and bluegrass will come back
stronger than ever!
Dick

We have 8 yes votes. Majority rules though I really think the other 4 ate also
going to be yes also..I will cancel the April concert and I will let Jordan and
the fire hall know that we will advise on the May show mid April, unless this
really escalates and we determine it sooner.
I am also going to see how we are for our annual board meeting that 1st
wednesday of May. Of course the jam at the church will also be canceled.
Dick can you please call the band and fill them in?.Thank you all. Ursula

Ursula and friends:
I will vote to cancel the April concert, and agree to not canceling May at this
point in time.
I do believe we should give all involved - bands, Jordan, Firehall, two weeks
notice to the May concert should we be forced to cancel that date. And, have
no problem with letting the Jordan and the Firehall know now that we have not
decided on May but would let them know as soon as possible prior to that
concert.
Thanks,
Glen

Hi, At this point the only concert I think we should discuss about canceling is
the April concert.
We can explore May's concert a little closer to the date since Remington Ryde
is more local. Everyone may be eager to get out and if the census on the sick
doesn't go up due to the self quarantines, the state may lift the ban by then.
I am hopeful but I am not expecting it.
My husband just this morning told me the staff including the doctors are
freaking out over this. I told him to be the calming factor. If he starts to
get fearful, they will all spaz out. He doesn't fluster quickly but he uses
caution. They know this and follows his lead. With that said, He has been taking
his shoes off before he enters the house and disinfecting them on the back
porch and showering as soon as he comes in the house. This is the first time on
40 years of working at the hospital. They did have a confirmed case but they
were not admitted to the hospital. ******Dick thought it would be a good idea
to take a vote and I agree. I do not making the decision but this way everyone
has a say. If we need a motion and 2nd so be it.
Please send a yes or no back so I can get a consensus and I can decide.
My vote is yes!Ursula
