Bob, if your church board is making the decision, that is a venue
cancelation so we could let the members know that the conclusion to cancel
the jam was made for us.
The concert venue has not canceled for the show so I think this could make
sense to both the church members and the SMBA members.
Ad for the timing and message... this is a good time to include that
information so all know what's going on. I can also put a note on the
website and facebook making the distinction between the cancellation and
the decision to proceed with the concert for this month. I think we also
need to include on our part that we are making decisions on a day to day
basis and if the state outright bans gathers, we will be forced to cancel
on short notice.
If that is good with everyone else,...we can do that. Thoughts?

I understand the pickle...the jam is the day after the concert. It's hard
to alert one group without the other. How about the possibility of asking
attendees to please refrain from hand shaking and hugging for the time
being? We all enjoy each others company and it's hard not to have that
contact, but under the circumstances it may be an alternative to still be
