Hi everyone,
I just wanted to send a reminder that the election meeting was moved from
January to this coming Sunday. 02/16/2020.
I have spoken to the members that were at the last meeting and they know that I
will not be attending as I have previous plans arranged but I have told Wayne
that I will put my name in for the President spot if no one put their requests
in. I would like to also remain the newsletter editor if you all deem me
worthy.
Kristen is traveling and is going to try to be at the meeting but maybe not til
2.
We will need to hold the vote so hopefully enough members will be available for
this meeting to hold the vote.
If for some reason we do not have enough people to do this, please let me know
and we can see if we can do a conference call on my phone to include everyone
so that the election can be completed.
As far as the newsletter – I will be working on the content this week. I have
the remaining band bios, Ester Yost obituary and an article from Glen. Our
member Jesse Buck sent me an article and I have an ad for sale of Bluegrass
Unlimited magazines to add for a member. If anyone has anything additional,
please send to me asap as possible. Dick, I would like to add the new schedule
but if you don’t have the contract back from LRB, we should talk about how you
want to proceed.
I would like to also add any picnic information if it is completed. This one
will be for April, May and June so we keep that in mind.
Scholarship info: Kristen, Please let me know what you want to add for this.
The scholarship for Dick should be discussed and decided how we are going to
present it and such. We can talk when you have a moment or just let me know
what you all discuss.
I also want to remind everyone that the next meeting will be the first
Wednesday in May. I will be contacting John’s Diner to set up the meeting room
reservation. May 6, 2020 approx. 5 PM or as soon as you can get there for
dinner and 6 for the meeting.
The Eventbrite ticket sales for Joe Mullins is holding at 7. I spoke to Wayne
and advised that we will need to save the amount of sold seats once evening
arrives so that the sold seats have a guaranteed seat.
I will be there for that concert to manage the tickets.
I think that was everything I wanted to touch on.
