Regarding the Sunday jam session -
*Good Lord willing and the Creek Don't Rise*, I expect to be there.
Also, Jennie Messimer wants to attend.
I really miss the bluegrass music and the people.

OK. Thanks Ursula.
I am going to post to FB that the jam is on.
I don't expect very many in the audience.
Right now there are about 6 or 7 pickers who said they'd be here.
The room has seating for about 25+ persons.
Carole has 1 person assigned to help her in the kitchen.
Limited menu: Hot dogs, cookies, ice cream, and drinks.
No money changing hands.
Not everyone is comfortable wearing masks, but if you are, then by all
means, wear it when appropriate.
Hand sanitizer bottles are everywhere, so use them frequently.
The bathrooms, all doors, tables, seats, etc. are sanitized every
Thursday & Friday.
Blessings to all.

Appreciate your comments Dick.
Be blessed and hope all is well.

Bob and board...my husband told me just yesterday that the hospital he
works at, UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg, does NOT show a lot of new cases.

My daughter's hospital in Pittsburgh however is about to bust at the
seams and they are on the verge of changing her floor over to a covid floor
again...also staff are now infected and they are very short staffed due to
it.
It depends where you are and who you are exposed to.
My neighbor had a fever on Tuesday of 103...it was gone by the next day
and the only other symptom was a stiff neck. She went to the cvs by the
high school and did a swab herself...which my husband says usual isn't
effective because people do not go deep enough. It will be interesting to
see what her test reveals.

My thoughts are if someone is comfortable with going to the jam and you
are ok with hosting it, that is fine with me.

Ursula and SMBA Board,

I received a couple calls today informing me of Gov. Wolf's dictate
today that restricts gatherings to 25 persons or less.

My recommendation: (Needs your approval)
We hold the jam anyway.
We already have tables setup differently in the room that limits
seating to social distancing standards.
No sound system will be set up.
Pickers will sit around in an enlarged circle in the room.
Masks worn on entering the building as Young's Church requires it, but
can be removed once seated.

To-date we have 6 persons who have called and said they plan to attend
to play.
I am not going to announce anything on the calling post until we are
ready to open up under normal conditions.

There will be a limited menu available. (Hot dogs & desserts & drinks)
(Condiments are individually wrapped)
No charge for the food.
Donations accepted.

If you disagree with opening please let me know ASAP.
Young's Church is prepared to host the jam either way.

Thank you,
BobB

*SCAMDEMIC* is in full swing.  Pa politics is live and active.

Reported to me by local health care workers in the know
(not hospital administrators):
All Cumberland County Hospitals indicate there are 2 new known cases of
CoVid19.  While they are prepared for the worse, they are not seeing the
number of cases being reported. For this, we are moving toward another
statewide shut-down. *Unbelievable!*

*Another instance:*
2 people went to the hospital to be tested. After waiting 2 hours, they
went home without being tested.  Several days later they received a call
from the hospital telling them that they both tested positive. This is the
*scam* of the century.

Ursual, I'd be interested in what your husband would have to say in
supporting or denying what I've been told.

FEAR NOT!  Have a blessed day!
BobB
