I will do whatever the majority of the Board decides. I think Ursula should
poll the Board and voting members on the wisdom of cancelling the entire season
or cancelling April. The May band is Remington Ryde and Ryan is close by if
things get better. Of course the attitude of the Fire Co. is another issue that
might be a factor in waiting a while to cancel.I'm Ok with any of the above. I
just need to know where and how to proceed. As I said I have Chris' phone
number and can call him with any decision made. I have the feeling he was
looking for an OK to cancel when he called and not just to chat and say hello,
which he has done from time to time.
As for Joe, I don't think we want to go to cancelling and get on the hook with
another band with things as they are. If things turn around and we want to see
if we can put a show together, I feel confident I can get a band folks would
enjoy as they will all be looking for work by then and folks will have cabin
fever and be glad to get out.
With the mess and confusion everything is in , I think it best if we make a
move, it would be to simplify , not make it more complicated.

Friends -
Don't want to throw any "wet water" on this issue, but seriously, I believe we
should be looking at canceling our entire concert series for the rest of this
season. I really do not think this two week limitation being imposed by
governments is going to be only two weeks, really believe it will be 4-8 weeks.
Four weeks would wipe out April Feller & Hill. May in serious doubt.
Mixed in with all of this issue is the little "dust up" we might have going on
with the firehall due to cancellation of last week's Joe Mullins show.
As to the contracts everyone should realize that "they are impossible of
execution" (a legal term) if the Government imposes a shutdown. Surely any
reasonable person would not expect us to uphold our end of these contracts for
a crowd of 50 with the latest recommendation being only crowds of 10, nor
should we expect the bands, sound, or firehall to do so.
Remember it is a "Shared Sacrifice" - when our founding fathers put the nation
together, it was called "for the common good."
Sorry for these negative thoughts from a person who always sees the glass as
half full.

Dick,Considering his location and need to fly and other band members location,
would it be a consideration to let him out of the contract and ask if Joe
Mullin might be available?Just a thought? You have a better handle on this
than any of us, so I would say that whatever you suggest is fine.Thank you,BobB

I received a call this morning from Chris Hill concerning the April show and if
we were planning on having it? Chris is living in FL and will need to fly here
for the concert and was wondering about acquiring a plane ticket. He and I have
been friends a long time, ever since he played here at my house in 2008 with
James King and we had a long conversation after not seeing each other since
they played here a few years ago.
He has a day job there with Charter Comm. and has remarried in the last year
and re-located there. Evidently Feller & Hill are not playing much these days.
I told him I felt it was too early to decide on whether to cancel in Apr or
not as it was still almost a month away but I would relay his concerns to the
Board. I asked if we could wait a few more weeks to see if things are getting
better or not and he indicated we could but he would need to know some in
advance of the week of show.
I think this is something we should be thinking about. I have his phone number
and can reach him when needed. The rest of the guys are in IN and OH so that's
not a problem and Chris cannot be replaced as he's half the show. My thoughts
are that we should not wait until the last minute to cancel or not. I'd think a
decision should be made by April 1 or thereabouts. Let me know your thoughts
and Ursula can and should make the final decision on the show happening ( or
not).
