Good to remember Lana, battery out, like switching off the power on the
computer when something major, but not too major, goes wrong.

Well everyone if you know you have done everything correctly with your
Kapsys and it still doesn't do what you want, then, if all else fails take
out the battery and turn it off.

Ring tones and vibration restored again.

Lana,

You mentioned that changing the ringtone didn't work. Why is this? Was it
silent? Was it not in the list of ringtones? 

Change the ring-tone, and press right-arrow to select the OK button. Check
the ringer volume, though this is always audible as long as vibrate only or
silent is not selected.

Hi Sam 

My phone has only ever told me it's unlocked and given the time and battery
status.

The outdoor setting is definitely ticked.

Which means it should ring and vibrate.

Hi Lana,

When you lock your phone, it should also state what profile it is set to. If
it says, screen off, ringer vibrate, then it is set to vibrate only. You'll
need to go back into sounds and notifications, and select the button which
will probably be labelled not ticked, above the Outdoor setting.

Hi everyone 

I decided to change the ring tone on my phone the Kapsys Smart Vision 2.

It didn't seem to work.

So I went back into the settings and changed it back to outdoor with vibrate
and loudest ring as I am partly deaf as well.

My choice has come up as ticked but when an incoming phone call is supposed
to ring and vibrate I only get an announcement of the number and a
vibration.

I have had other people try and change the setting but they are getting no
further than I am.

Let alone not being able to change the ring tone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
