The lense for the camera is underneath the phone, very near the front. So the
screen is facing up with the keypadd toward you.

I've been trying OCR again, this time with Envision AI (the Android version was
among items mentioned in the Top Tech Tidbits newsletter a couple of weeks
ago). I've had limited/patchy results with the feature for reading text in
realtime (only deducing which piece of correspondence it was reading because of
previously going through it with family), and very little result with the mode
for reading documents. I've had the screen facing upwards when holding the
phone over the document. Is this correct or is the screen supposed to be facing
down towards the paper? Even here the user guide seems inconsistent when
referring to the cameras vs which is used for what etc. I've also been in touch
with the developers of the Envision AI and apparently they're adding audio
guidance for reading documents (which is already in the IOS version and
indicates what edges of the document are visible). Their website is at:
