Hello Dave,
I have just followed the steps you described and I am prompted to select
recipients. By arrowing down, you can choose from favourites, contacts or
dial number, where you enter the number, press ok and type your message.
can I ask: Do you have contacts stored on your phone? I cannot understand
why you are told you have no messages. If you just arrow down when you open
the messaging app, you will have no conversations. You have to select the
New Message button and you will be prompted as I said above.
