Hi, since it appears my Smart Vision II has completely died I have been looking
at other options. At the moment I am borrowing an android phone of a family
member however I am getting totally frustrated with the touch screen. I have
ordered an adaptor so I can put my sim card into one of my old phones and I
have found a battery that holds it’s charge. This will keep me going until I
can decide on what sort of phone I want to get. I want to stay with android
since I have bought apps there so don’t want to waste them. Meanwhile I have
also ordered a Rivo2 keyboard so if I wish I can get a phone without buttons
and still use it. My brother and mum have been looking at all sorts of phone
but the main phones that have buttons they have found aren’t running a full
version of android so they don’t suit.
The thing I really like about the Rivo2 keyboard is you can then use your phone
without getting it out of your bag. So, you can do all you need to do from the
keyboard for most of the things I would want to do.
Betty go to sleep now.

Bron don’t hold your breath on a June update. Like Stephen Giggar said it is
5 years old and most places have quit carrying it. The Smart vision2 needs to
go out to pasture. Its time has come to an end. It had potential but Kapsys
limited it to much. If you want keyboard access and a phone I would recommend
a Rivo2 and a iPhone. I say the iPhone because if you are using a keyboard as
the primary input method iOS has better keyboard access then android.
