Next time my wife experiences this problem, we'll give the battery swap a
try and see if the problem persists.
I'll come back to the list again if there's anything more to report on this
subject in the future.

Well doing the battery swap would be something you could try on your own.
The battery isn't tied to one phone. So that would be the easiest thing to
try to see what happens. In saying that, I think you may be running into a
problem with the software and or the phone system. But give the battery a
try.

Hi all,
My wife is experiencing the above issues with my old Smartvision 2 after
only using it for short tasks. For example, if she goes in to Facebook with
the battery at 90 percent, and reads one or two posts, and possibly writes a
reply to one of them, after that, or possibly during the reply being
written, the phone suddenly freezes, stops speaking, and becomes rather hot,
as if it's overheating. We've found that the only solutions are to either
switch the phone off an then reboot it, or to take the battery out, then put
it back in, and then turn the phone back on.
Is the problem my wife is experiencing something battery related, or is
there more to it?
Also, would swapping the battery in my old phone for the battery in my
wife's old Smartvision 2 which she's still got, be of any help, or would
the same issue possibly occur with the battery swapped?
