Please find information below pertaining to the new software release for SmartVision 2.

*Release note – software version n° SV2-6607*

*Software Update Process*

An Internet connection is required to download and install SmartVision2 updates.

To update your device, go to “Settings”, select "About Phone" and then "System Updates".

Select "Download and install" at the bottom of the list and press the "OK" button to start the download.

Depending on your connection, downloading the update may take some time. You can view its progress via the update notification in the notification shade. When the download is complete, select "Install" from the system update screen. It may take a few minutes to complete the process before you could use the product (vocalized feedback).

*System improvements:*

- *Overview:*

oBugs fix and performance improvement

oTranslation and vocalization improvement

- *System:*

oGoogle's "Assistant <https://support.google.com/assistant/answer/7172657?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en>" app is now installed and used by default for voice commands. To fully benefit from all the features of this application, simply launch it once.

oAccentuate uppercase characters has been added on the physical keyboard.

oFixed the latency issue when opening the Settings.

oFixed latency issue when starting voice commands from the home screen.

*Application Improvements:*

- *Accessibility:*

oNavigation improvement in some third-party applications (Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, etc.)

oBrailleBack: Esytime Braille display from Eurobraille is now compatible with SmartVision2.

- *Agenda:*

oImprovement of the validation process when a new event is created.

- *Audio Book:*

oImprovement of some audio books opening.

- *OCR:*

oAddition of an "OCR online" mode to increase the processing speed. This option can be activated in the app settings (Menu key)

oNew languages available: Greek, Hebrew, Russian, Finnish, Hungarian, Romanian, Croatian.

- *NFC:*

oIt is now possible to read several NFC tags one after the other.

oProblem with NFC voice tags opening fixed.

oImproved the opening of some textual NFC Tags.

*New application:*

- *Color Detector:*

oThe Color Detector application uses now a new engine based on artificial intelligence. To improve the performance of the detection, you must now use the silicone protective case provided in the box and put the rear camera in contact with the object to know its color.

*- Banknote Recognizer:*

oThe Banknote Recognizer application lets you identify any Banknotes in Euros. Other currencies will be available and downloadable soon.
