Thank you for your helpful reply.
I did have the phone close to my ear when I made the call as I don't like
walking around with wired headphones, (the last wireless set I had for use
with a phone didn't hold a long charge, and leaked sound), but I don't
normally have the problem of the speaker activating automatically. Thank
you for a pointer to a solution encase the speaker activates in the same way
again.
