Hi Sam and list,

I went to the link. (Sam, this is the one you provided below for the Eye-D app.) I then went through the rigmarole of changing my password via my desktop, as I kept being told the password was incorrect etc. I made sure I was signed in on both my desktop and the SmartVision2, but was activating the "install" button via the desktop and, even after being told via the SmartVision2 that the app had successfully been installed, I still can't find it in my applications list. And this is even after I repeatedly activated the Install button when it was alerting me of data, files etc it would need access to and presenting me with Cancel and Install buttons!

Regards
Vivien

Agreed. I think this alternative called Eye-D is worth exploring.

Subject: [smartvisionau] Paid for annual subscription to Envision AI app but now can't even access
which settings are disabled/enabled as "disabled", "enabled" etc is being read
after all options/out of context

Hi list,

I have contacted the developers of the Envision AI app, and am waiting to be called back after they
suggested this in their initial email and I gave them my number and suggested time. Basically, I've
paid for the annual subscription some time after the trial version ran out (unfortunately before I
got around to testing it with the ScanJig Pro scanning stand). Now I find, when I go into Help, the
settings are being read out without the state (disabled/enabled) for each one, instead I get
"disabled" being read out in succession after the settings and therefore out of context,
and every time I select the button for turning on the flashlight, I'm still not told if it's on or
off - it just says "turn on flashlight button" whenever I go back to those settings. And
I found out after my subscription (which I consider wasn't made clear on their site) that the
built-in guidance geature isn't on the Android version yet! Is anyone else noticing the behaviour
with the settings on the SmartVision2? I'm also shown in my account details as joining in April
when I only subscribed last week, and I can't even get to whereever I'm supposed to be able to
cancel the subscription/renewal.
(They told me in the email they would need to figure out why that is happening,
and I certainly wouldn't have thought the gap between the trial period expiring
and my actual subscription would havbe impacted this.)

Regards
Vivien
