OK Stephen, maybe it is just me and Vivian having an issue.
Could you please tell me what language and voice you are using on your phone?
Maybe I can try another English language and a different voice to see if it
will work for me.
Thanks
Rhonda

I don't have any issue with the Envision AI App on my smartDivison2. I went
through all the screens IE TEXT, General and Help. Even checked out the buttons
on them and they read OK as well. The language didn't switch to an different
language. It stayed in English.

Hi Stephen
The multi language is unchecked and I am using Kapsys Daniel with English UK as
my language.
When activating the envision app, it says "thanks for using envision? In
Danieel's English voice then converts to a French sounding language.
Even when I get out of the app, my phone keeps talking in the French style
voice.
As I could not understand the options in the menu to turn the phone off, I
flicked the battery out and reinserted it . When the phone turned on, it was
back to normal.
I did try the envision app again yesterday and the same thing happened.

Did you go into the language options in settings I think it is and down the
speech and then down to the TTS then go into that and make sure that you have
multi language uncheck. This is the general area where you can also download
additional voices for the TTS that you are using.
I have Invision AI installed on my phone! I'll give it a try later today and
see what happens. Are you saying as soon as you go into the App it starts
talking in another language?
Or are you scanning something and then it starts talking in an different
language?
I'm wanting to find out when the language change takes place. So that away I
know when to look to see if it happens for me.

Hi Vivian
This is exactly what happened to me too. Very annoying.
I wonder if it is a Kapsys voice issue or something else. The fact that the
French language persisted on the phone after exiting the en vision app seems to
indicate a clash there.
Would love to hear from anyone who is successfully using the en vision app
since the recent update. Iff there is such a user out there, please let us
know what language and voice you are using.
Cheers
Rhonda

Hi list,
I tested the Envision AI app since this latest update and, for me too, it was
speaking in French, after initially starting in English with "Thank you for
testing this app" or something to that effect. I couldn't even get out of it
with the Back key, so just reverted to pressing the Power button to get to the
main menu, where I arrowed down once to Power Off. (It was saying it, but with
French pronunciation!) It was only when I turned the phone back on that I
finally had the speech back in English, and I haven't changed the voices at
all, just using the Kapsys one. I had reported similar issues with one of the
earlier updates, which was supposed to be fixed. So they need to be contacted
again re this issue.
Regards
Vivien
