Hi Peter my Husband got one of these phones, I had never seen One before and
within half an Hour it was all set up. I can follow the Manual without any
problems. I love this Mobile and can't wait to get my own mobile.
just my opinion.

Now I'm replying to my own message. I don't think I gave the correct
information before about deleting. I must say I don't find the menus on this
phone in the layout very intuitive taking me a while to get my head around it.
And the instruction manual is crap

Hi Vivien, I didn't see a answer to your question so thought I would write
even though it has been awhile. The reason your contacts are all coming up as
mobile numbers is because the default setting of that drop down list is
mobile. So you will need to go into each contact and change the drop down
list to say the correct thing for each number. You can't change this setting
for all contacts at once they have to each be done number by number.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, Sam. But now when I review other contacts - even those like our
home number (where I hadn't gone into that drop-down list when I
initially entered the number), they too are now showing up as "call
mobile". So this affects all the contacts then, once I've ended up in
the drop-down list for a more recently entered contact? How do I change
those contacts to make sure they don't show as mobile numbers?

Hi Vivien,
The two number edit fields are immediately followed by drop-down lists,
from where you can choose Mobile, Home, Work, etc.
Whatever you choose from this drop-down list will dictate the assignment of
that number that you enter into the field.
So if you choose Work, on, instead of Mobile, on, then the phone number
will be assigned as a work number.

Hi Sam/list,
After the first field in Contacts (ie for the name), is the phone number
field supposed to be for mobile or landline number, or doesn't it matter? I
was entering a landline number for this contact in that second field,
thinking the "mobile" field in the drop-down list was a separate one and I
could press OK to enter the mobile there, but when I did that, I was then
getting some other settings - eg "mobile on", "pager off"
etc. And when I then edited the contact and put the mobile number in the
phone field right after the name field, and reviewed that contact again, it
was then marked with "call mobile". Also, that phone field immediately
