I read somewhere this week about an app called "seeing assistant home lite"
which has a barcode reader in it.
I have downloaded it but not yet had a play with it, don't know if it has
any Australian barcodes in its database but may be worth a look.

Hi All
Has any one found a good bar code reader that a totally blind person can
use? I downloaded one just now, the 2nd in the list in the play store. It
doesn't seem easy to use for a blind person, as it tells you to place the
bar code in the box on the screen in order to scan it. Has any one else had
better success?
