Hello fellow future librarians!

You are receiving this email because you have shown an interest in the
Library Information Technology Association student group at UW-Madison.
We have a first get-together and meet-up for LITA-interested students at
the Rathskellar next Friday, September 23 at 5:00 PM. We hope to see
you there! Also, we have a couple of polls about our activities for the
semester that we hope to see all of you take. The first poll will let
us know when you would like to have tech class study sessions and can be
found at:

http://www.doodle.com/ibf4mwhhisrtsvnz

The second poll asks which tech workshops you'd like to have us host for
the benefit of SLIS students, or which ones you would like to give
yourself. It can be found at:

Finally, for professional development purposes you might consider
joining up with the national LITA organization. When you sign up for
membership in the American Library Association or Wisconsin Library
Association, you can indicate your interest in LITA and pay a membership
fee in the organization alongside your overall ALA/WLA membership; just
check the LITA interest on your membership form when you sign up. You
can sign up for both the ALA and WLA through the WLA website, and the
sign-up sheet can be found at:

http://wla.memberclicks.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=44

That's all for now. We look forward to seeing you next Friday, and to a
stimulating and exciting semester!

If you have received this email in error or would like to be removed
from this list, please email me (woken@xxxxxxxx) and I will remove you
from the list.

David Woken
