[slackwareusers] Telnet problem with Slack 9

I just installed Slack 9 and now when I telnet to it, the connection 
immediately gets refused.  FTPd works fine.

I am assuming that I didn't install the package with telnet daemon in it.

1) Anyone know how to check to see if the telnet daemon is installed?

2) Anyone know which package has telnet daemon in it?

3) Anyone know something about this that I am missing?
