i have gnash in cvs-snapshot builded 3 days ago.
can play some youtube videos and many more.
work fine? i don't know, i never used gnash since this build :-)
if anyone needs it i can make package and send it (or put in a mirror)
boost libraries too.

i managed to build gnash the other day. you first have to compile the boost libraries, apparently. (which takes quite a while...) i also compiled ffmpeg from source. i don't think i needed anything else that didn't come with slackintosh.

i couldn't get gnash 0.8.0 to compile, but 0.8.1 compiled fine. i can check tomorrow what configure options i used, but i do remember that i had to disable cygnal (you don't need it anyway) and explicitly specify opengl as renderer.
