Excellent recipe.  I had some troubles until I commented out the 
line :   
     device=/pci@f2000000/ ....

I had a flashback to 1995 and learning to install SLackware
2.1 on a 486... except I didn't need 65 floppies :)

|aah, yes. You need to:
 |+ boot off from the slackintosh dvd
 |+ mount hdb
 |+ mount both proc, sys and dev over the hdb root
 |+ chroot into hdb
 |+ edit both fstab and yaboot.conf
 |+ run both "mkofboot" and "ybin -v" to install the bootstrap partition
 |(mkofboot is not needed if you use hdb bootstrap but refer to previous
 |mail for why not to choose it)
