Hi,
Seems that does it for creating the swap, but I'm not sure for the root (do I need to give it another name?)
Nope,
Ok, I will keep naming it "root"
Hmm, this could be it. If the package is not in A nor Mac, then I don't have it.
I then installed (expert mode, installing packages from a and mac) the very basics. Installation completes, but then nothing comes up when I reboot.
Ehr, did the yaboot installation work? (You NEED hfsutils installed for yaboot)
Well, Slackintosh did not see the LVM partition, thus it was the small one, which should become /boot in fstab. Anaconda does not give names to partitions like it's mentionned in Slack. Think they don't care about it.I think it's the boot partition. When formatting that partition, I'm not to sure about the size. I tried ext2 / ext3 / reiser / xfs and in xfs it seems that he thinks that there are 39 G blocks of 1K, which is not correct.
root or boot(strap) partition ?
You shouldn't touch the bootstrap partition yourself.
Kernel is correct: 39070080 sectors (20003 Mb) CHS=38760/16/63 .... So that's ok.The size of the disk is 20G. In mac-fdisk, the blocks are also 39M in total, but of 512B, making 20G. I think the error could be here.
What size does the kernel report while booting? (dmesg)
