Uhm, this got delayed and delayed and delayed... anyway, I did some
fiddling with the SlackBuild: I can't build it at the moment as it needs
a cairo update (1.4.* to, at least, 1.6.0) and I don't think I'll go
through all of the updates needed to get firefox 3.0 running on 12.1.
It's better I'll start focusing on next -current so we could have a
nicer ff 3.5 :)
Some random ideas for getting ff 3.x on Slackintosh:
1) try the powerpc community builds, I'll search for a download link and
I'll post it here
2) an irc user (pvn1) built kde 3.5.10 for Slackintosh 12.1: why not put
together a user driven slackintosh-goodies site with out of release
updates and stuff for 12.1?
