[slackintosh-users] Confusion about therm_adt74x and powernowd

Hello !
I am a little bit confused about therm_adt746x
and powernowd. Do they both do the same thing ?
What about pbuttonsd ? When running powerprefs i also
see schemes for when running with AC and when running with
battery.
Do i need to modprobe therm_adt746x ?
