[SKRIVA] Snowden nobelkandidat

A Swedish professor, Stefan Svallfors of Umeå University, has nominated
mass-wiretapping whistleblower Edward Snowden to the Nobel Peace Prize:

AFAIK professors will usually have the right to nominee Nobel candidates, but
it seems for formal reasons Snowden can't be a candidate for 2013 (but later
for 2014). Of course, a single nomination doesn't have to mean much. But
personally, I have been appalled by Snowdens revelations of the obscene,
extensive wiretapping of all E-communication by ordinary citizens done by the
NSA (and to a great extent by British counterparts). The Peace Prize is often
awarded for civil rights and few things can be more important than protection
of civil liberties. Just a couple of the latest news (more on the UK paper The
Guardian's website): Microsoft has actively cooperated with the wiretapping,
eg "helping" to nullify their own encryption. How much can we trust Microsoft?
Not a damn much, I'd say. NSA has wiretapped 50 million E messages per day in
Germany. Etc. Und so weiter.

Ps. Snowden getting a Nobel would have very long odds. But many on the Net
seems to like the idea. "Edward Snowden" and "Nobel Peace Prize" now has 420
000 Google hits. A week ago it was 120 000.

(En sen not. Imin postning till Trufen-listan såg jag att problemen med
Hotmails helt undermåliga tolkningar av radbrytningar fortsätter. Jag försöker
här återställa, men det blir nog knas igen. *Många* av mina postningar senaste
tiden har fått helt knäpp radbrytning - trots att de förstås skrivits korrekt.
Microsoft äger Hotmail, och MS är som ovan sagts helt opålitliga...)
