[SKRIVA] Bakgrunden till Stieg Larssons "Män som hatar kvinnor"

Jag har på sistone fördjupat mig en smula om kvinnliga seriemördare,
som är långt fler än man ofta tror. En oväntad spin-off av detta är
att jag snubblade över de radikalfeministiska teorier som Stieg
Larsson helt uppenbart har använt sig av till sin Millennium-trilogi,
speciellt "Män som hatar kvinnor". Radikalfeminister har varit mycket
intresserade av seriemord och byggt bisarra teorier på att det skulle
vara det yttersta uttrycket för patriarkalt förtryck och mäns hat mot
kvinnor. Jag är säkert inte den första som förstått kopplingen, men
det är fortfarande intressant i all fnoskighet.
Här är en sammanfattning (med kritiska kommentarer) i uppsatsen
"Feminist Perspectives on Serial Murder: A Critical Analysis" av
Cluff, Hunter & Hicks i Homicidde Studies 1997 1:291:

Rather than study all forms of serial killing, feminists, especial
radical feminists, have restricted their investigations to a narrow
range of killings. They limit themselves to studying only male sexual
predators and dismiss the possibility that women could be serial
killers. Their main contention is that male serial killers are the
product of patriarchal society. As Cameron and Frazer (1987) asserted,
"Only men ... are compulsive lone hunters, driven by the lust to
kill--a sexual desire which finds its outlet in murder" (p. 1). The
lust to kill is presented as an expression of patriarchal power. Some
feminists have even argued against the use of gender-neutral terms
when referring to serial murder. For example, Caputi (1990) claimed
the use of gender-neutral terminology "works to obscure what actually
is going on out there, for the 'people' who torture, kill, and
mutilate in this way are men, while their victims are predominantly
females, women and girls, and to a lesser extent, young men. As these
hierarchial lines indicates, these are crimes of sexually political
import, crimes rooted in a system of male supremacy in the same way
that lynching is based in white supremacy." (p. 2)
As Jenkins (1994) observes, this is an extension of the feminist
argument that every man is a potential rapist; every man is not only a
potential rapist but also a potential serial killer.
By limiting the study of serial murder to male sexual presators, these
feminists unneccessarily restrict the study of serial murder. If
patriarchy is the only structural force generating serial murder, this
reduces their analysis to a single-factor theory. The opportunity to
extend the analysis to investigate other social-structural factors
that might influence the creation of serial killers is lost.

Stieg Larsson gjorde en värdefull insats med att skapa Expo, men han
var också på många sätt en mycket naiv och förvillad människa.
Genusprofessorn och radikalfeministen Eva Lundgren -- som bl.a.
lanserade teorin om att det finns utbredda satanistiska pedofilnätverk
i samhällstopparna, som begår massmord på foster och spädbarn -- var
en av hans goda vänner, och han citerar friskt ur hennes alarmistiska
rapport "Slagen dam" i "Män som hatar kvinnor" (2006); och detta var
ett år _efter_ att Lundgrens pseudoforskning och fantasisiffror i
rapporten avslöjats av Dokument Inifrån 2005.
