Download your copy of SF Commentary 83 (October 2012) and 84 (November
2012) in PDF format from efanzines.com

Because of a lack of cash, if I have to print more than a few copies, I
cannot keep the magazine going. If most people download, I can keep publishing,
and publish more often.

Make sure you know when each issue is published. Email Bill Burns at
billb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx . Ask him to
place you on his email notification list.

SF Commentary 83 is available in two formats:
portrait-shaped (print version equivalent): http://efanzines.com/SFC/SFC83P.pdf

or
landscape-shaped (widescreen): http://efanzines.com/SFC/SFC83L.pdf
.

80,000 words. SFC 83 features Guy Salvidge's 35,000-word article about the
novels of Philip K. Dick; Tim Marion's article about Philip Dick's children's
novel; plus a vast letter column with feature letters (mini-articles) by people
such as Brian Aldiss, Mark Plummer, Patrick McGuire, Franz Rottensteiner,
Yvonne
Rousseau, Murray MacLachlan, Rog Peyton, Taral Wayne, Damien Broderick
and John Baxter. Fenna Hogg supplies the wonderful cover.

SF Commentary 84 is available in two formats:
portrait-shaped (print version equivalent): http://efanzines.com/SFC/SFC84P.pdf

or
landscape-shaped (widescreen): http://efanzines.com/SFC/SFC84L.pdf
.

80,000 words. SFC 84 features a special on some veteran Australian authors
whose works should be better known (Damien Broderick, David Boutland, and
others); Brian Aldiss's tribute to Harry Harrison; Mark Plummer's complete
guide to the fanzines of Bruce Gillespie; Ray Wood's 16,000-word article about
the US film 'Let Me In', based on the Swedish novel 'Let the Right One In'; Tim
Marion's tribute to Patrick McGoohan's 'The Prisoner', as the 40th Anniversary
DVD set is released; and Colin Steele covers 'The Field' -- a wide-ranging
review of the SF, fantasy and horror books that have been recently released in
Australia. Ditmar (Dick Jenssen) supplies rich, beautiful back and front
covers.

And if you really must have the print copy, email me.

Best wishes
Bruce Gillespie
