Can you do the following: 1. Open the preferences dialog and go to the menus and shortcuts page. 2. In the menu or category choose "play". 3. In the feature list choose "Play/Stop or snap line/lyric to next note". 4. Give this a keystroke of Alt+9 5. Now in the menu category list choose "plug-ins". 6. In the feature list choose "System Objects". 7. Give this a keystroke of Alt+0. 8. OK the preferences dialog. 9. In the score try both these keystrokes. Alt+9 should start and stop the playback. Alt+0 should open a dialog called System Objects.
